The Drowsy Watcher in Sycamore Grove Park

While taking a midday walk in Sycamore Grove Park, I unexpectedly came across an owl dozing off on a branch. Its head kept nodding in rhythm with sleep, and I couldn't resist sketching the scene—even though I was just as drowsy under the warm sun. For a while, it felt as if we were mirroring each other's sleepiness, quietly sharing a moment between wakefulness and dreams.
It was my first time seeing an owl in the wild—and certainly not where I expected: in broad daylight! This whimsical encounter reminded me that even in the most ordinary hours, nature still finds playful ways to surprise us.
